Friday Truth–The Bible Says:

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Hey, it has been a long week for me.  How about you?  I’ve got a lot of things going on in my life right now that are challenging.  And, sometimes it’s tempting to become negative.  That’s when I’m really thankful for so many encouraging and uplifting passages in the Bible.  They truly keep me going when times are tough.

It’s really a shame that there are so many “fakes” on television posing as ministers of Jesus.  They abuse and twist the Bible to scam people, take their money and buy themselves mansions and private jets.  And, in the process they leave a bad impression about the Bible in the minds of many.  In this weekly “Friday Truth” segment I hope to clear some of that up.  You’ll see that the Bible is actually a “love letter” that God has written to us with hundreds of encouraging messages that give us strength to carry on through difficult times.

As I said, I’m in the midst of some significant challenges right now in my life, and some of you probably are as well.  “Friday’s Truth” for us this week is from Jeremiah 29:11.  It says that God’s thoughts toward us are of peace, and to give us a future and hope.  So, even in the midst of my current trials, God has promised me a hopeful and peace-filled future if I trust Him and don’t give up.  And, I should also mention that when I’ve claimed His promises and trusted Him in the past, He has always come through for me.  He has always been faithful.

So, if any of you are in some difficult times of your own, I encourage you to do what I’m doing.  Trust His promise to give you peace and a hopeful future as I am, because the Bible also says that He does not practice favoritism, so what He does for me He will also do for you if you ask Him and trust Him.  And, the Bible also states that God is ”on our side”; He’s not against us.  Therefore, He’s going to help both you and I when we come to Him.  That’s the truth for this Friday.  Have a great weekend!

Why John McCain?

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Why has the Republican Party now rallied around John McCain?  After Romney dropped out of the race there were two choices left for Republicans, McCain and Huckabee.  Huckabee is certainly the more conservative of the two, even to the point of desiring to add a human life amendment and a marriage amendment to the Constitution.  Moreover, the largest voting block within the Republican Party is Evangelical Christians, most of whom also desire to use all legislative and judicial avenues necessary to protect human life and traditional marriage.  So, why McCain?

It appears that, once again, Republicans’ moral values are easily trumped by their craving for power.  Huckabee should be their man based on their professed biblical and moral values, but they believe that McCain has a better chance of winning so they decided to “chuck the Huck” and maintain McCain.  This is the same McCain who is known for his outbursts of temper and sailor’s profanity, which are traits that are considered to be sinful in Evangelical circles.  He’s also the same McCain who has been viewed as being weak by most conservative Republicans when it comes to issues regarding enforcing America’s border with Mexico, which was supposed to be one of the top concerns for Republicans.

What happened?  Just as religious right-wingers regularly allow their love of money to trump their biblical and moral values, which I have documented and written about on this website, we see similar behavior when it comes to their love of power.  When they have the choice between shared moral values with Huckabee, or a better chance to win power with McCain, they go for power.  So, now it’s “win baby win” with McCain, while Huckabee is relegated to self-deprecating humor on Saturday Night Live.

I guess, on second thought, religious right-wingers are not much different than their most secular opponents.  The love of money and power also top the list of their priorities.  Those who fear a values-based agenda from the “religious right” can relax.  You have nothing to fear if you remember to give them a choice between their values and power or money.  They’ll take the power and money nearly every time.

Why My Book Is Important

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

I have added a new page to this website today titled, “Why My Book Is Important”.  I encourage you to click on it because it gives a good overview of the problems I’m exposing in the Evangelical Church, as well as a good idea of what you can expect to find in my book.  Tomorrow I’ll be writing about “The Right-Wing Israel Conspiracy”.

Contemporary Christian Crusaders

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

It has been nearly a millennium since the conclusion of the devastating Christian Crusades, but there are still Christian Crusaders today.  Their methods may appear to have changed, although many in the Middle East who have experienced the “shock and awe” and smart bombs of the American military would probably disagree; nonetheless, the desire for power and control remains the same for today’s Christian Crusaders

The Crusaders of the Middle Ages identified their enemies based upon their Islamic religion and geographical sphere of influence, then attacked and attempted to coerce them to submit to the Crusaders’ form of governance.  Likewise, contemporary Crusaders have also identified their international enemies based upon their geographical sphere of influence and their supposed “terror connections” to those within the Islamic religion.  They have labeled them as being an axis of evil.  However, there is another unholy alliance of politics and religion existing within the Christian right-wing’s own conservative domain.  It is indeed ironic that a modern “unholy alliance” of contemporary Christian Crusaders is intent on dismantling a declared “axis of evil” that is once again primarily comprised of Islamic people; moreover, with today’s Crusaders again trying to coerce them into their own style of governance.  Deja vu?  While their techniques appear to be more civilized, they still fully intend to win their battle for our culture.

Who are these modern, civilized Christian Crusaders?  They are right-wing, Christian leaders in powerful and influential positions, such as President George Bush, James Dobson and Pat Robertson.  Dobson and Robertson have broadcast audiences numbering in the millions.  And, they have been successful convincing their multitudes of listeners that our nation has been hijacked by dishonest and immoral politicians, which essentially means Democrats.  Therefore, they have also convinced their followers that it is their Christian duty to take their nation back by voting for right-wing candidates who will support their political agenda.

I have established this website and written my book, “Right Wing Politics and Religion: The Unholy Alliance Exposed”, to warn our secular culture and millions of sincere, conservative Christians that these men influence so greatly.  Beware!  Most of today’s Evangelical leaders are not what they appear to be.  And, I am exposing their duplicities.  After reading my book and discovering their intentional infidelity and disobedience to the God of Christianity, it becomes readily apparent that the primary duty and challenge for Evangelical Christians is not to take back their nation from dishonest and immoral politicians, but rather to take back their Church from deceptive, arrogant and hypocritical religious leaders.

Why Right-Wing Evangelicals Support Torture

Friday, February 8th, 2008

President Bush’s policy of allowing our military to employ the use of “milder” methods of torture upon enemy prisoners has certainly caused great concern in many circles.  However, among right-wing Evangelicals there has been widespread acceptance and avid support of Bush’s torture policy.

Why?  Christians assert that their God is a merciful and loving God.  Jesus stated that we are to love our enemies, not torture them.  Then, why do Evangelicals endorse the use of torture?

The answer is quite simply that they have been desensitized and brainwashed by a repulsive, sadistic doctrine taught and greatly emphasized by Evangelical theologians and preachers.  Evangelical theology maintains that God will punish lost sinners by torturing them throughout the trillions of years of eternity in hell as supposed just recompense for their 75 year lifespan on earth.  If hell were limited to one trillion years, that would equal 1,800,000 years of torture for every single hour of their lives!  How do you like that warm, merciful, love and justice Evangelical style?

If  Evangelicals can embrace trillions of years of wailing and gnashing of teeth in  torment as being just punishment for a 75 year lifespan, they probably consider torturing prisoners for a few days or weeks to be exceedingly fair and just.  When it comes to determining and administering justice and punishment, Evangelicals’ minds have been warped by their sadistic theology.

Do you want these sadistic minds running our government?  I encourage you to listen to yesterday’s podcast titled, “Evangelical Sadism”.  It will give you a more in-depth look at the sadistic Evangelical beliefs that so adversely affect their judgment.
